This is my first attempt at layers. I never have tried before.

You've cut out the pelican very well Julie. There is a skill to doing that convincingly. One I have yet to learn.
I don't know if you wanted to make it look more genuine or not. But if you did, you may be able to do that by darkening the pelican (as the sun (moon) is behind him) and making the pelican a little smaller.

It's a good edit Julie.

thanks, it was a five minute bit of work to try and work out layers taht I have never done.:-)
