It was lurking outside the house. My wife shamed me into going out to see what it was. Grabbing my trusty Kodak Hawkeye (with optional flash), circa 1938, I encountered a huge green creature. "Wanna take my picture?", it asked. Wow, would National Geographic love this!

You got it, Caroline. She's an avid gardner. Grasshoppers aren't exactly her favorite insect.
