Our Christmas Cactus had the sun behind it - and this is it's reflection in the top of our toaster-oven on the kitchen counter. This isn't how it came out of the camera. The background was a light grey, so it's been been very much darkened. I was surprised how this made the "stars" - from the chrome plating on the toaster show up. Then it was cropped, rotated 180 degrees, & finally contrast and sharpening was added.

Obviously a lot of work on your part. However, the end result doesn't do much for me. Not sure what the intent was. Sorry.
