Wow. Currier and Ives meet Andy Warhol.

An arresting image, to be sure.

Boy, that's an eye-catcher! Ever thought about going into the calendar business?

Thank you Barbarian and toshi43! I use Corel Photo paint 10.0 and use a option called Local Equalization to get this effect. I love your description Barbarian, and toshi43 I dream about selling a photo someday, not really sure how to go about it though.

I like the overall effect, I think with a tidy smoother sky it would leave all the attention on the scene. I like it.

I have to agree with creeduk. The sky just doesn't "work" for me. Otherwise, I think it's absolutely marvelous.

Thanks lucky and creeduk, I agree with you, I'll have a go at doing something with the sky after work today.

This is a fantastic piece of work!! I love it, sky and all!!

As far as you not selling any photos yet ............... you've got to be kidding me?????? You are one of the best photographers I've seen!! I don't know how you go about it but I would suggest you put together a portfolio of a cross-section of your work and show it toseveral art dealers. They would be able to direct you from there I'm sure!!

Rose, thank you for the compliment, I may do as you suggest. My wife and friends try to get me to do the same thing all the time, I'm a big chicken. I have never suffered from overconfidence. Thanks again for making my day!
