Did you add the "sun" only, or is the sky a composit? It's a cool shot whatever you did!

well my guess is u have added the lady and shadow and the sun, sun is infact lens flare :-)and possibly its a panorama as well?? think its more than just a wide angle shot......could be wrong though!!!

Here are my thoughts:

The windows have a very black border around them and don't look natural, either that was added or is an after effect.

The lady looks like she was placed there as well asthe shadow. From where she is standing she would be in the shadow of the building and would not cast such a shadow.

The lens flareswere added as well as the sun (which as was stated above is in itself a lens flare.)

The sky was also added. If you look at the far right in the middle you can see the sun shining out though the clouds.

Aside from what I think was modifed in the picture the only thing I don't like that I would change is the black border around the windows and the lens flares. Remove those items and you would have a very nice looking image.

Hi All, I've only been a lurker here for the past few months, and no posts yet.

Anyway.... just wanted to point out that the woman's shadow is cast there because of the yellow light over the door...

Other than that, I'm not sure where L wants to go with this.....

Hoping to be posting soon...

Maw

Don't think so. She is too close to the door for such a long shadow to be cast from that yellow light IMO. I just think she's been inserted there with a shadow, but nothing else added.

On second thought, probably the sun effect (right) and the glare (left) It seems that the sun should actually be coming from behind those clouds.

Oh duhrrrrrrrrr:? I just went back to the original posts in critiques Under "Follow Me" and also "sunburst Onboard". I forgot the woman wasn't in the original post.

There is something that still bothers me about the lighting on the deck. Is the deck from a different image than the ocean and sky ?

Whatever the answer, whatever you did.. very nice image. Good job

Regards,

Maw
