I used patern mask in photoshop and brushes from the Wow book.

Hi, this is my first post here and just had to say that is a stunning picture and effect.
Was that achieved with photoshop elements or the full blown photoshop?

I can't quite come up with the right superlative to describe this picture. 'Beautiful' just doesn't seem adequate. Wow.
