I've been trying my hand at taking some not-too-exciting countryside shots and making them more interesting by photoshopping them to give them a kind of aged effect. Anyway, here are my first two attempts at this, in the order I did them:

Nice work, mustanir.

Of the 2, I'd say the first one looks more like it is from the early 20th Century.

I'd agree with Walter on thatone, apart from the light's on the road, well is supoose they could be gas lamps! :G

I really like the second shot, its very well captured and appears very atmospheric, especially after the post editing

Thanks for the feedback.

While I do prefer the 2nd one myself, I think the first one does capture that aged look better. Unfortunately I can't quite remember how I produced either effect in Photoshop so any future attempts are bound to come out differently again! :lol:
