Hi Mr mark5

I tried to do this way by the two links but in vain .

Please If you have the original cd for this camera .

send me thelink of it ...

please ..
The only file on the CD related to the driver for this camera is already posted. All the other files are related to the ArcSoft software and not to the drivers of the camera.

Your issue is that you are trying to install XP drivers on Vista - just won't work.

By setting up a virtual machine (either by VMWare - my first choice - or by using Microsoft Virtual PC) are going to be your only options to get the camera working on your Vista pc.

To just get the pictures off, as you originally said you needed, I would go to a friend's house that has XP, use the DSC07.exe file to install the camera onto his computer, copy the pictures onto your USB stick and then deinstall the drivers off his machine. Should take about 5 mins and job done.

You can then go and get a $5 camera from somewhere that will work with Vista (and is probably better spec'ed! :-) ) then you can get rid of the old Sipix with the pictures safely stored.

Good luck!

hi all,

I tried using the two files linked here, but it didn't work for me under xp sp2.

so i found my original cd and it worked fine.

i'm happy to upload an iso of it, but you have to provide the space. it is over 400meg after being zipped!
