Oops.

Upon closer examination, I may have been wrong.

Apparently, the only thing on the CD is the "Media Player 11 Decoder for AIPTEK* .MOV Video Files" which you would need to play your movies in Windows Media Player 11. But you can also use Apple's QuickTime, as is, to play your videos, without any additional software.

According to the manual:

Connecting PC and Save files

After the software is properly installed on your PC, please follow below procedures.
1. Turn on the camcorder.
2. Connect the camcorder (with SD card inserted) to your computer with the USB cable.

3. A dialogue window will appear automatically. Please select the item "
Open folder to view files" and click "OK".
4. If the dialogue window does not appear automatically, you may double click on "My computer" and open the "Removable Drive".

5. Double-click on the
DCIM file folder.
6. Double-click on the
100MEDIA file folder.
7. Copy the files you wish to keep and save them to the desired location on your
computer.

The Video files that the ActionHD-DV 1080p creates are .MOV files that Apple's Quicktime can play. If you want to play them in Windows Media Player 11, you need the driver on the CD. And, it seems that driver is not available for download from AipTek's website.

You could download and install Apple's QuickTime, or if you want to play your videos in Media Player, you could call AipTek's Technical support. They could tell you where to find the appropriate file to download, or they could e-mail it to you.
