Hello, I would like to know if anyone has any experience with the Canon CP-330. Specifically, the kit for replacement ribbons is the kp-36IP. I was wondering how many prints I can get out of one ribbon. I read a review on CNET and it said that the ribbon that comes with the printer only prints 5 4x6 prints. I am somewhat concerned about this because if the replacement ribbons print the same amount, I will be going through a ton of them, and it is not worth it.
All help is greatly appreciated!:?:

When you buy replacement ribbons, you are buying a pack that contains ribbon and paper. The ribbon will only print what in included.

KP-36IP 4" x 6" paper, 36 sheets about $20

KP-108IP 4" x 6" paper,108 sheets about $45

Buy.com has the printer for about $250 and free shipping, the 36-sheet pack for $17.

So if I buy the 108, I will get 108 prints? They actually package the 36IP with a ribbon that prints less than the 108?

Thanks

Hello,

When you purchase the printer, they only give you a ribbon that has enough length and colors to print out five pictures and they only give you 5 4x6 papers. It is a trial pack so to speak.

The KP-36IP pack give you one ribbon, which lasts for 36 pictures, and 36 4x6 papers.

The KP-108 IP, gives you 3 ribbons, which will last for a total of 108 pictures, and 108 4x6 papers.

Hope this helps.

For canon dye sub users Newegg has the CANON KC-36IP packs for $10.25. Shipping is a little steep, but still a pretty good deal.
