I got one and I made a LOT OF MONEY around New Year's Eve taking pictures of drunk people for $6.00 a pop. The color is very good, the pics are waterproof and prints are fairly fast. I don't remember their being a 3 MP limit to the prints, because I use 1600x1200 for most of my shots because it maximizes the printer's ability at that res. Even in the instruction manual it mentions that this size is optimal for prints. All in all, I've been through almost 150 pics and I love every one of them. Word of caution - trying to use the photo editing controls of the printer SUCKS IMO. Take a good picture in the first place or edit on a PC, cause the editing of the printer can't hold a candle to its priniting ability.

You are correct in the editing. You can only do brightness and contrast adjustments. You can also resize and rotate the pic. I will give the printer a break with editing because the printer does such a great job on prints.

The end of the 1-hr photo finisher is clearly in sight when Wal-Mart or Costco start carrying the consumable for theses printers...

I will be happy when the supplies are carried by local stores.

Are you saying that Walmart has consumables (paper) for the HiTi printers? I'm new here so its May 18, 2006. Please reply to: kmil123@msn.com

I'm thinking of getting a HiTi but am not sure which one. I'd like to do occasiona 5 x 7 prints, but mainly 4 x 6!
