Hi, this may sound strange but I have doen some dye sub mugs in the past and the biggest issue & cost is the inks used in epson printers, I was using a 980 with Xpres inks (UK) but gave uo with this as the printer always clogs with the ink and the colurs are never exactly correct.

I know the hi-ti or hi touch printers do a version with the gala software that enables the clear coating to NOT be applied, so the pic cna be heat transferred onto a coated mug, but these are not in the ideal sizes, the canon range do some 8x4" paper which is about right for the mugs, has anyone tried these papers?

Failing that, anyone who has one of the printers, can you tell me if the overcoating can be deselected?

Many thanks

Shawn
