I don't see an option for not closing a disk after burning.I want to add files later but I can't until I figure this out.:?

What kind of DVD are you making? Some discs require to be clsoed so that they can be read by certain players.

I'm using various brands of +-RW.I finally figured out the problem. When I want to add files I have to use the "edit dvd" function.

After the DVD disc is burned once, the Disc At Once (DAO) technique finalizes the DVD disc and it will not be used again for burning purpose. This is the reason why every time you need to burn to a new DVD-R or DVD-RW (need to be overwritten) after you create the project.

The above is told by some technical support staff from DVD Burning Xpress, which I am using. I don'y know whether this helps. So if you need to save addiotional files on burned disc, you need to save before your burning.
