I have copied the video from the handycam and are trying to create a backup CD-R using Picture Package. After Making the selection I click on the tab Write to CD-R and I get a FAILED TO WRITE message. It doesnt get to the point of asking for a CD to be inserted.

Any ideas

If you are useing windows XP put a blank in open my computer locate blank open it up drag file to be saved on the blank directory. Choose write files to cd.

thanks for suggestions. I have updated the Picture Package with the latest updates from their website. The video file is 3.4gbytes and it is designated as VIDEO CLIP in file type.

I will try alternatives but will need to create an output that will play on standard DVD player.

Ok just from the first post to your last the first you have CD on the post. File size of the video is 3.4 gigs you will need a DVD for that file size.
