Default Newbie, Software Recommendation (PC)

:?: Looking for any and all of your software recommendations ! (PC Format) Here is what i want to do; I want to take all my digital pictures and MPEG's and assemble them into a slide show type presentation. I want to be able to add music, captions and maybe a few special effects. I also want the ability to pull a single image from one of my MGEG movie clips. Okay and too boot here is what I want to spend. I would like to be the ($150-$225) range. Does anyone have some good suggestions. Please help point me in the right direction. Thanks-Bill :?

You have a Ton of choices here ... ones that are quite complex and expensive
I would suggest Video Magic from ACD Systems Ltd, you can use stills, video and audio tracks to create videos quickly and easily.

here is the link: http://www.acdsystems.com/English/Pr...deoMagic/index

If you want more robust features you have choices that cost way way more than this....

Adobe Premiere , and Adobe After Effects, and Avid are the industry standards for PC users for video editing (Pro Tools MAC) but they are pricy and can take a long long time to learn, especially if you get a copy that doesnt come with a manual (*if you know what I mean)

Good Luck to you all the same
