There are several programs to do this. One of the most popular is called Exifer. Sorry I don't have the URL. Another which is also useful as a photo editor and viewer, is Irfanview: http://www.irfanview.com/ One which gives more comprehensive listings, and allows editing Exif in Raw files is PhotoME. These are all freeware available for d/l.

Ops. Not such as fine
Hi
Thanks for help. With Irfanview or Exifer or PS(save for web), exif data are erased but not all data. Image without exif data still contents data such as date, program name (photoshop or sim) and some other data. Is it possible to clean all data except image (pixel) data?

Hi
Thanks. Program works fine. I can erase or change exif data but still there are data in the image. I use hexa editor to check binary or hexa data in the image file and I can still see some data, such as name of program for editing, (Adobe pho.... or any other). If you use Irfanview with F3 you can see all data , exif and other.
Actualy I want to extract pure image data, pixels only, without any hidden data. Any idea?

If you choose menu Modify>Remove metadata and thec check "All metadata", this will erase "all" metadata (incl. software you used, etc.) inside jpg file -nothing "hidden" remains there.
The only things left (inside jpg), are file related data: FileModifydate, Width and Height of image... ans some stuff needed to identify file as jpg image.

Greetings,
Bogdan

Just out of curiousity, why would someone want to remove all the EXIF data?

One reason to remove the EXIF data is to reduce the file size for use on the web or email. Getting rid of the thumbnail image in the EXIF data would do most of that. That thumbnail can be up to 50k, larger than I like for the image itself.
