I have a ton of picture on my computer and some where taken with an older camera. The problem with some of the picture is the the pictures are taken side way or so and they end up side way when I view them on lightroom. I can rotate the image on lightroom and view it on lightroom the right way. But if I view them on windows(vista), the image will still be side way. Same thing when I have to move the image from one location to another like a different computer.

In the past 4 months, I had to reinstall Lightroom 3 times(my mistake)and every time I reinstall it, I had to flip all of the image again.

Is there a way to save the metadata, the part that I flip INTO the photo itself not just the info for lightroom?

I hope that makes sense.
