Hello,

I am very new to Elements and hoping I could get some sugestions from people in this forum. I recently purchased v6 and have no prior experience with the program. I know there are many features I will never use or need but would like to get an understanding of the basics. I could hopefully then move into the more advanced functions available.

I know there are the Dummy Series & The Missing Manual but I have heard mixed reviews on both. So, I can't be sure that's the best choice for someone starting out.

Can anyone offer some suggestions on good learning materials? Whether it be books, DVDs or online tutorials. Any suggestions would be appreciated so I can gain a basic understanding of the software.

Thank you

I have Elements 3, and have found the included Help to be pretty useful when I have a specific question. There are also some basic tutorials as well. Try those out first. Once you start down the path to the darkside, though, you may have trouble finding your way back.
