Hi im not sure if i have posted in the right place if not then i apologise, can anyone tell me how i can remove something from a picture like a pole behind someones head??

Im sure i read it somewhere i just cant find it.

I've moved this down to our Editors (Photoshop, etc.) Forum, where you may find some tips.

You'll probably want to use the Clone Stamp tool if your editor has one.

JimC is right the clone stamp is most likely the way to go. With smaller objects such as phone lines the "healing Brush" in photoshop works well. Then of course there is always the option of replacing the background entirely or blurring it into oblivion It really all depends on the original photo.

Personally, Id use the Pole Removing Tool. Its the one with the red and white stripe.
