I just bought a copy of Photoshop Elements 7 to hopefully upgrade from Paint Shop Pro 9. I have a huge issue with printing. I have a Kodak 5500 all in one. With PSP there is no problems at all, with Elements however it's another story, as long as I print on 8 1/2 X 11 everything is cool, but when I engage the 4X6 photo tray it's another story. I go to page setup in elements and select 4X6 with the photo tray engaged, then go to print, I get a paper size error on the printer :sad:I check back with Elements, sure enough it reverted back to letter size. Anyone have any ideas how to make this stubborn #@$%^& of *&^%$#) software do what I tell it???

You can screw around with Elements and create your final JPEG.

Then use the software that came with your Kodak printer to print the JPEG.

Usually the print software that comes with your printer does the nicest job.

My guess, and it is only a guess, is that you may need to reinstall either the pinter driver, or Elements. This may not work, though, as I have had issues with PS Elements 3, involving printing. IIRC, it was a similar case. It may be that you need to set the pinter first, then Elements print function.

Also, check for updates for both the printer driver, and Elements.

I usually print from Photoimpact, as I am used to it and it is much simpler.
