Hey!

I'm looking for software to catalogue and organize images offline (the images being taken over many years at a public library). I would like software that includes the ability to attribute IPTC tags to the images to facilitate easier and faster searches. Also, I need software that can be used in a network environment and that does not require multiple installations AND that can be used by multiple users.

I've been researching this for a few days now and PicaJet Photo Organizer looks good. However, it says on their website that though multiple people can view/read the database, only one user at a time can make modifications to the content of the database.

So, I would appreciate any suggestions.

Sincerely,

K

What platform do you use? MS has an OS add-on which, being part of the operating system, should work as well networked, as stand-alone.

We have Windows XP installed on most of the computers in the library and a few use Vista. I'm very curious as to what this add-on is called.

Thanks,
