I would put the word 'only' in the second part of the sentence.

I found [SPAM REMOVED BY MODERATOR] on the internet, and it is very good for watermarking.

Benedekfi:

You've been banned for using our forums for commercial purposes (advertising your products or services here), and all links to your site are now being filtered by our forums software, regardless of the member posting the links to it (as you'll find by reviewing the 3 posts you made about your product). So, your attempts at using the forums for advertising have insured that no members (not even satisfied customers) can post links to your site in the future.

We do not appreciate Spam here.

Jim, I was part way through banning him and saw he had already changed to banned.... you beat me to it again..... but your nice replies are much better than mine LOL, and I don't think I have the ability to filter sites either so good job you did it.

I don't usually leave the Spam and post public warnings.

But, I do it from time to time to set an example and make sure vendors realize that they're hurting versus helping their business by attempting to use our forums for advertising.

When they're obviously associated with a site (and in this case, I had conclusive proof based on registration information), pretending to "find" a product as if they're only a user, I will often filter all future links to that site, too.

That really annoys me when vendors do that (pretend to be a user of a product versus someone associated with it), and we do not tolerate spammers here.

It's true. When I was looking at the reg details I spotted that the email was the company, LOL. Oh well, it keeps us entertained.

Too entertained. For example, I just finished deleting a big For Sale post (and doing the same thing, blocking links to the site and contact e-mails used for it).

Of course, I'm not sure how many members would trust someone using a hotmail.com e-mail address anyway (as this new poster included in the thread he started for contact info for members wanting to buy products like the Nikon D5000 kits they were advertising here). :-)

As you are well aware (since you delete a lot of it, too), we sure get our share of spam here. lol
