Default RAW conversion - what do you recommend?

After playing around with RAW files last week, I'd like to know with software you prefer to develop (?) a JPEG from your RAW files.

The programs I tried are:

Lightroom 2.5
DxO 6
PS CS3/4
PSE 8

I prefered the results and the workflow from DxO - it's really easy to use! I think I'll try a combination of PSE 8 and DxO.... what do you guys use?

You may also want to look at the latest Bibble 5 Pro:

dxo and pse is a good choice.

and as jim suggested, i liked the bibble interface when i played around with it.

i personally convert in LR and do major edits in cs4.

I have gotten good results from Raw Therapee. Rawshooter Essentials is another good program still available for download, if your camera is supported by it. (the last version is 2006)

I also think RawTherapee is great for that. UFraw works well too, but RawTherapee does a bit more, including correction of lens distortion, and I think it's easier to use too.

Thank you for all your recommendations, that really helps

Now I've got one more question - does anybody know a "raw viewer" for windows 7... something like the standard windows picture viewer? Is it possible to see previews of the raw files in the explorer (like you see when you have jpegs)?

That would be great
