Default Upgrading PE8?

I can't find an upgrade option from PE8 to PE9. Is that possible?

As I looked at the Adobe (USA) site, I didn't see an upgrade offer either. What I did see was a $20 rebate, but that takes it down to what can acquire locally at Costco. Occasionally you will see them "on sale" at local stores, alternating weeks with Paintshop Pro, but currently all stores are concentrating on Tax and Accounting software in their sale ads.

I don't recall Adobe ever offering - other than perhaps by direct email - an "upgrade" on its least expensive software. They do offer an upgrade option to the full Photoshop of $100 off, the full suggested retail of PSE. So getting PSE at a discount to MSRP is a net savings if ever elect that upgrade step. Be aware, for all upgrades, Adobe has a 2 version lookback limit. So your v8 would have one more version release cycle for that type of upgrade eligibility to PS - or v6 and below is currently not eligible.
