Default Spyder 4 help

My spyder pro 4 is in and I'm not sure I like it. It is very warm. Almost yellow!! It says to set to the 6500k (prob warmer than my laptop).

During the process of calabration, it says to adjust the brightness control until the indicator is in the middle. There is no way to move or adjust any sliders or tabs. So I just manually adjusted brightness on the monitor settings to 80 and hit continue.

I have to send some samples to the lab and or my eyes need to adjust to this warmer setting. Any thoughts?

I don't use a calibrator, so I'm not certain on how to help you proceed. Are you calibrating your laptop, a desktop, or both?
In a lot of systems, now, you have to open a separate window with the graphics card settings, in order to do color adjustments. Perhaps you could switch windows while using the spyder software.
6500K is a bit on the cool side for color temperature. Is the calibration software saying to set it to that after calibrating? If so, that would bring it back from the too warm setting.
