Default Watermark

What is a really good cheap or free Watermark software??

I have tried UMARK. I got one really good series of marks from it, and couldn't get it to work again..

I use Photoimpact for everything I do, so I don't have any experience with Watermarking software as such. Here is one which seems to be well thought of.

There are lots more to be found http://www.majorgeeks.com/mg/sortname/graphics.html
You can also try Photofreeware.net for other ideas.

G'day mate

I am using PS Elements and watermark via a DIY Brush Tool that gives the ownership details
If you would like a PDF file explaining how to DIY it all, please PM me

Regards, Phil

I'm not a fan of PhotoShop. I mostly use Corel, but I can't do mass WM's with Corel, and to do 3000 photos by hand is a bit much.

Okay mate - then for 3000 images you might like to reconsider Elements at $99+/- for one of its batch-processing options. I use this option to put a copyright notice onto all the images I send out to students - takes no time at all once the process is started PSE just clicks away going thru the images

PM me if you want a PDF showing 'how-to'

For batch processing, if you don't need a full image editor, I highly recommend Irfanview.
