Default Good Manuals For Photo Shop Elements or PaintShop Pro 8??

I'm looking at getting one or the other of these photo editors. I've been told by pretty much everybody to get the Photoshop Elements software, but I've heard that the PSP 8 is really good too. My wife wants the PSP 8 software because "the box" looks better and shows more features in the cover of the box. However, we went to the local book store and they had several different books on how to use PhotoShop Elements, and not a single one on how to use PSP 8. This either means that Elements is really hard to use and PSP 8 isn't, or Elements just has a lot more support and a bigger market for people to make a book on how to use it to it's full potenial. I'm guessing that the later is true. My question is, What are some of the best books on how to use Elements and if they do make any for PSP 8, What are they? Thank you

Jake

PS Elements has more support. PSP8 is a very good program, but if you just want it for photography retouch, I think PS Elements is better. Scott Kelby's Photoshop Elements Book for Digital Photographers is the best book on PS Elements IMO

Either program has a learning curve, but neither is too difficult to learn.
