Default Photoshop 7.0 - Help with Dodging/Buring tool curser

I'm new to PHotoshop. When I started playing with it, when I used the dodging or burning tools, I got a round circle as a curser to show where the activity was happening. I did something to lose the round circlel and instead now have some crosshairs.

I've spent two hours trying to figure out how to get the round circle back on the screen. Can anyone help?

Thanks

You probably just changed the brush size.

If you click on the tool a bar should show up at the top of the screen with various options for that tool. At the far left there is the brush option. If you click the down arrow next to the brush you will see this.

Now just select a bigger brush by clicking on it.

Good luck.

Have you checked to see if you have the caps lock on? this will get rid of the circle and give you a more precise target.

It was the caps lock.

I'll probably be back with questions form time to time, but I try to figure things out with the Help menu before I bother everyone for answers.

Thanks
