I'm using PS 7.0 and have been having trouble with resizing photos. I understand the steps to do it, Image/image size, then change the size. I use inches to resize, usually a width of 7.5 and let it set the height automatically. What I don't understand is if I change several photos to what I think is the same size, they don't all turn out to be the same size. Does that make sense?

If you look in the sports photo section, Historical Sports Car racing, you'll see what I mean. All of those photos were sized to the same size, or at least I thought they were.

After I change the size of the photo I then click on Save As, name the photo then click save. Any ideas of what I'm doing wrong?

Hi

As I se it, you are doing nothing wrong, and there is no reason for the pics to be different sizes. Just check everything carefully before you click OK.

You should not mess with inches unless you want to print a 7.5 inch wide print. Resize the image in pixels and they will all display the same size. The pixel size determines the size they will display onscreen.

exactly slipe.....and also....the best way to do it is to resize a copy....not the original (you probably know this already lol....but just making sure) and resize it to under 800x600 pixels.....640x480 might be better....but i normally do 800x600 unless i'm posting a bunch....
