I want to do the reverse of printing multiple images on 1 page, ie. I want to take an image and print it over multiple pages (in this case, 16 to be exact). Ignoring, for the sake of discussion, image quality issues, does anybody have any experience/suggestions for completing such a task?

Thanks

Never done before, but I had thoughts about some times ( to make multiples small laminates composing a big photo)
There should be quite easy in photoshop or other editors to crop the picture as you like for each "page"

Malcolm

Youshould in theory be able to do this by saving it as a .pdf file, opening it in Acrobat reader, and using the Advanced>Tiling options, except on my system the option is greyed out - it may be ok on yours.

Altenativly, most DTP programs have a 'Tile' option for printing.

We are of like mind and I have done as you thought to create one large photo, comprising sixteen separate laminate prints. The 'problem' was getting an exact crop on each of the sixteen interlocking puzzle pieces and it became incredibly tedious to execute.

Thanks for the note!

There is a program designed to do just that. I'm pretty sure it is freeware or has a long trial period. Unfortunately the name escapes me – lot of help I know. You might spend some time in Google to find it.
