Can anyone suggest a book on Photoshop 7.0 that would help me learn how to use it? I'm feeling overwhelmed by all it can do. I was thinking of buying Photoshop 7.0 for Dummies although I've never been a fan of the series. No color photos to really see things clearly and I can do without all the dumb jokes and puns. Any other suggestions?

this is the book. it looks at PS from a photographic point of view. as a darkroom. it is the definitive book from its point of view. it does not get involved in the other creative aspects though. if it were to do that it would be a 3 or 4 volume set of 3in thick books. this is the basic problem with PS for some you use maybe 10-20% of the capability of the program. and please don't mention elements because elements falls way short on even some of those basic darkroom functions. elements is a tease for the real thing.
