Hello,

I use Premiere 6.0 for editing. I wanted to add and edit the video clips taking from the Canon S50. When I import a clip, the message reads:

Adobe Premiere
Unable to open that file.
File uses an unsupported compression format.
File path: C:\Documents\User\My Documents\My Movies|MVI_0999.AVI

Strange. I'm sure .avi fileis an accepted format for Premiere.

The problem is probably with the video codec used by the Canon S50.
