1. Click on SPONGE, then click DESATURATE and 100%.

2. Pick a brush size smaller than the width of the red eye.

3. Click, hold and brush over the red. Do this 2 or 3 times.

4. That's it!


I've looked at over a dozen tutorials for red eye removal and all of them have been WAY more cumbersome than this. This method creates a black or dark gray replacement of the red, and doesn't mask eye highlights. My experience is that, unless you're taking a close-up picture, you don't see eye color in the photo so you're not losing anything.
