Part 4 of the tutorial series, "Developing Photos That Pop" was added to my site today. It explains how to get the most from the Photoshop CS Shadow/Highlight command.

Feel free to download the earlier tutorials in the series, too!

Part 1: Understanding Tonal Range, Contrast, and Brightness

Part 2: Using ACR II to Adjust Tonal Range, Contrast, and Brightness

Part 3: Using Levels and Curves to Adjust Tonal Range, Contrast, and Brightness

If you prefer HTML versions, Uwe Steinmueller has HTML versions for the first three tutorials in the series.

ohenry, I have to agree with you. I just took a read through Mitch's first 3 tutorials and they are very, very good.

Mitch, thank you! You have a way with words that makes for readable explanations of the way things are.

Wow! I'm blushing.

Thanks for the kind comments. I'm pleased that the tutorial was helpful.

I get a lot of satisfaction out of making life easier for people by sharing what I've learned. :-D

Cheers,

Mitch
