I took a ton of pictures on Saturday with auto exposure bracketing on in some tough lighting conditions. It did its job nicely - there's lots of details and colors visible in both the over and under exposed that don't otherwise show themselves. I didn't notice any registration problems between shots (all taken with tripod) - all either landscape or architectural so nothing really moving between shots (though I'm sure some wind will prove me wrong when I get to detail time).

For now I've got the task of stitching the 3 shots into one aesthetically pleasing whole. Does anyone have a method they use for this, preferably something that may be semi-automated?

Thanks!

Seth

One of the cooler features of Photoimpact is that it does do this...

They call it "High Dynamic Range" processing and do some automation on the pictures for you.

Shows the tool and steps...
