I'm using FujiFilm S5500 (aka S5100). Can anyone tell me of some programs used for converting its raw file (.raf)? i've tried photoshop CS with plugin 2.3 and GraphicConverter X 4.9, and nothing worked. Even Adobe's free DNG Coverter doesn't work. Has anyone tried it? I don't really like the software that came in the box, so if anyone could pls let me tell me which other program works w/ the S5500's raw file, that would be great. Mac or PC. Thanks...

DCRAW from http://www.cybercom.net/~dcoffin/dcraw/will do. But the Fuji has its sensor rotated 45 degrees so you need to rotate the picture.

See the section "Why are my Fuji images rotated 45 degrees? "

I have heard of some users using S7raw, I have not used it myself so I cannot say how well it works. You might try also posting this question in the Fuji section up further on the list. You may be able to get more answers that are more model specific.
