I have the Picture Package CD which I received with the DCR-DVD403E HandyCam, but I can not install the software. It simply "does nothing" after all choices and acceptations are made. No error message. No "Finished" message. Only the [correct] file folder is created.

Please help.
The OpSys is Windows XP Professional; CPU, RAM & HDD sufficient enough.

All suggestions welcome.

Have spoken to Sony with regards to the problem of CD no found/recognised.

Drive not found etc.

They in turn told me that the software for Picture Package is not theirs but they gave me a link to the solution.

Picture Package

After clicking on the link click on the left hand side ENGLISH then follow the info for downloading the update for recognising the disk drive, if you have a drive that is not listed then email them and they will add it to the list with an update.

This writer update/download covers all versions of Picture Package.

Any problems understanding the instructions email me at laugemsue@aol.com and I will assist the best I can.

Good Luck

I've been trying to use picture package which came with my Sony DCR-HC20E, I've installed all available updates but still the picture package won't run.Every time I try to start it I get told that I should install Macromedia Flash Player first but I have Flash Player installed , the latest version too,so does anyone have any idea what might be going on? :O
