Hi there,

I just purchased the Nikon 8800. It is more camera than I need right now, but hope after some reading and courses I will grow with it.
I would like to do the same with the image software.

So what do you guys think?

Adobe Elements 3.0
Microsoft Digital Image Suite 10
ACDsee 6.0

Thank you in advance.

I think you can look into Gimp 2.0/2.2 as well. It is very good and FREE :!:

GIMP is not for the faint of heart.

As a start, I would go with Elements. It's well worth the effort to try the free downloads and play with it. Once you get the hang of it there are lots of Plug-ins and Actions that, IMHO,makes it the best first choice.

I just got Microsoft picture it premium 10, and it's basic of basic but real cool. I am sure imaging suite will offer more tools when the need arises.
