My son just returned from vacation and accidental pressed the "delete ALL" button on his camera before downloading any pictures.

I have a program called Photo Recovery, don't know where it came from (maybe I downloaded it) but I tried that, and got back all his pictures. He was so happy.

This is a great little program. Anyone else every heard of it or used it?

Shirley

Yes, most file recovery programs will do the job. It doesn't have to be specifically for picture cards.

Sandisk give away a utility called "RescuePRO 2" on a mini-CD with their "Extreme III" (and possibly "Ultra II") range of memory cards. I had a little try out of it on an old CF card I had when I got it and was amazed what it found, basically it recovers whatever hasn't been overwritten by a new picture, ie the card I tried it with was full of pics then they were downloaded and deleted and then it was half filled with pics that were downloaded and deleted, so the recovery program restored the last half that were saved on it but also half of the even older batch that weren't replaced by the new half (I'm sure I could of explained that more simply!) It can even fix corrupted images and restore images from a formatted card!

I've had good luck with Image Recall (www.imagerecall.com).
