I just bought PSE 3 and really like what I have played around with so far. Now it is time to learn how to really use it. What is the BEST book or where is the BEST website to learn how to work with pictures. I am very interested in Restoring B/W photos......

Thank You very much

There are a lot of video tutorials for you to see here, http://photoshopelementsuser.com/videotips/# and check out the Elements User Forum at the same site.

You're welcome Bagsfan5.

This could be due to the apathy of some members when they come across an oft requested help query, though I feel I have had an enormous amount of help from this forum so don't have any problem trying to give a little help back. Also, many of the viewers of this thread may not actually know directly where to point you and until they have a look they don't know what you want. (Just trying to be diplomatic )

PSE3 is a great little program, enjoy it.

Glad to be of assistance.

Stevekin.

Or maybethey don't have PSE3 yet.:-)... Or maybe they viewed your post from work, where it is not always possible to make an accurate reply. (you know, bosses and the like) :-):-)

All the best

I have spent countless amounts of money on PSE 3.0 "How To" books and have found that all have errors in "how to" steps, leave subjects unfinished (like Scott Kelby's Web gallery uploading) and don't clarify terms they use to describe movements, step, procedures. What is a controlled click?? Forums are the best way to find info..This one is great and there are many to input to.

You're right on that one. This is the best forum of it's type, in my opinion. You can't beat advice from someone who has already seen it, done it, tried it, and tested it.

Books can be invaluable sometimes. I actually like Scott Kelby's books and the way he writes, but you can't ask a book to expand or clarify something. In a forum you can. Enough said.
