Thanks all for the DNG conversion pointout, that solved the problem. I wouldn't have thought of it and avoids me having to invest in Nikon Capture . I have been using Raw Shooter Essentials and wanted to see what/how ACR compared. Frankly in functionality, at least on my D2Hs files, I prefer Raw Shooter over ACR.

Hi Jim

If you go to the camera RAW page, the D2H has been supported since version 3.0 of the ACR plugin for CS2.
He's got a D2Hs (not a D2H).

Arrrrrgh! My bad!

I'm surprised the conversion to DNG actually worked.

But, I have seen some users report success that way with the D70s this way, too (D70s is also not officially supported yet by ACR, but some features seem to work).

We've got 3 newer Nikon DSLR models not officially supported by any version ofACR yet (Nikon D70s, Nikon D2Hs, and Nikon D50). The D50 is now shipping from some retailers.

The D2x got support with ACR 3.1 (except for the "as shot" White Balance). I've seen no word from anyoneaboutif/when support will be added for the other 3 cameras yet.

Well I hope my D2Hs won't become an orphan because I sure do like the output.

Just before I bought the D2x I sent them an angry letter about this issue.

Aside from propaganda, the reply I recieved said that the D2x would be fully supported in version 3.2 of ACR.

What does this mean?

Who knows?

Just moved to Nikon and NEF files after great success using Olympus RAW in CS2.

I'm struggling to avoid this mini "Nikon" window, what are the key files I need to look for (and where should they be located).
