Default cutting and pasting mutiple objects in PS

Grettings,
I'm having difficulty in cutting and pasting more than one object in PS. What I'm doing is taking a picture of a flower and I want two sides of it to overlap the frame. I can copy on part of the flower, crop the image and repaste the cut part. The problem is, once cropped, I can't get back to the original to cut the second part. Help please.
Thanks,
Scott

create a new layers to paste in. Then you can do all the cutting and pasting you want and flatten the image later. I just tried it in PhotoShop 6 and I was able to makes more trees to fill in the image.
