I see that Photoshop Elements 4 is available. (does that seem fast to anyone else?) Has anyone tried it?

OK, I bought it. I was going to buy Elements 3 anyway, so 4 seemed a logical step.

The votes are still out. The organizer is supposed to be one of the great new features, but I'm not entirely sold on it yet. For one thing, it slows my system down quite a bit. It's going to take a while to get used to the layout of the editing page, but everything is there... somewhere.

I know that I'd be more comfortable with Elements 2, but I'm too stubborn to turn back until I've fully judged the package. I'll let you know when I have a little more experience.

Cheers,

On the same boat as you. I had the old photo delux home edition and was using my girl friends elements 2. Was just starting to get the hang of it and also was looking into elements 3 but there was 4! Bought and installed it this week but have yet to take a test run.

What is the big deal about the albums/organizer? :?

I just use the viewer in windows xp, trash the junk, use some quick fix from elements and then burn the folder onto a cd.

What caught my idea was (I think it is) the automated marquee/lasso tool.
