NHL,

Someone was kind enough to point me to a great (and free) EXIF reader (at http://www.takenet.or.jp/~ryuuji/min...fread/english/) and using it, I found some interesting information:

My main concern with EXIF data was the ISO an image was shot at, and looking at a Canon CRW file (from my G3), I see the following information:

CCD Sensivity : Auto
ISOSensivity : 100
ISOSensivity : 1024

(Yes, ISOSensivity was listed twice, with two different values.)

Looking at a JPG produced by the G3, only one entry mentions "ISO":

CCD Sensivity : ISO50

So this ExifRead program confirms to me that Canon does not write the information properly, at least on their non-SLR digitals.

I wonder what information a CRW and JPEG file has, if produced by one of Canon's DSLRs.
