I use zoom browser to download my images but every time I plug the camera in, an adobe application automatically opens along with zoom. It takes some extra time for the Adobe program to load the thumbs, then I can close it out and continue with zoom browser. How do I shut this off. I've tried a bunch of different avenues but with no avail. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! Here'sarecent pic of my kid, just because.

It is a pain in the bottom, especially if you don't use this part of Elements for your photo organizing .

Open Elements, then from the Editor, open thePhoto Browser.

If Elements starts with the welcome screen, click on 'View and Organize Photos'.

Now go to Edit > Preferences > Camera or Card Reader.

Uncheck the box for 'Use Adobe Photo Downloader to get Photos from Camera or Card Reader'.

Now click ok. In future, when you connect your camera, Elements should not open automatically and should not take control of your uploading.

P.S. Nice close up, because it is .
