I wonder how it compares to Photoshop CS2 though cause if you look at prices one is 600 dollars and one 30 dollars go figure.. I am also looking to find one to complement my DXO i just downloaded don't know which way to go..

I'm certainly no expert but I can't see spending that kind of money for Photoshop.

PSP 10, according to one shop, has at leat 95% of the functionality of CS2. It even runs Photoshop scripts!

Version 9.0 is available on ebay for around $20. Well worth it!

Paintshop Pro is one very powerfull program and shouldn't be dismissed. True, it isn't Photoshop but it also doesn't cost an arm and two legs. I have Photoshop CS2 and is I were near a Best Buy, I would easily spend the $30 bucks to get Paintshop Pro.

I have Photoshop CS2 and PaintShop Pro 8 - both of which were downloaded from the internet. Now that I have learned a little - and am looking at making some money by incorporating one of the programs into my photographic works, I am going to buy a 'legit' copy. Betwixt the two mentioned above, I kind'a lean toward PSP. I am not far beyond the tip of the iceberg, with either of these programs, but I find hat PSP just seems to sit better with me. I will try to pick up PSP10, from BestBuy, on Friday - if that sale price is still in effect.

~Blessings~

I'm sure you'll love it.

Consider getting the scripts package on this link. They are awsome and will save you lots of time!
