I build websites and one of my customers sent me 3 videos that they want to use on the website. I need to have them in MPG so I can use them with Microsoft Frontpage. They are currently in MOV form. I am looking for someone to assist me in transfering these files. I dont want to buy any software if at all possible because this is the first time I have had to do this in 5 years of building these websites.

I think you're going to have to fork over something...

There are many free movie viewers, and there might be one that allows such a conversion - But I know of none. Quicktime Pro is around $29 bucks and will allow you to do this. There very well may be better ones...

What platform do you use?

I build my websites in Frontpage, and it only accepts .MPEG videos, my customer sent them to me in .MOV, so I am pretty much at a loss. I can pay the $29 bucks if necessary!

MPG isn't the only format you can use it would all depend on how you want it to display.

But you can find many free programs to convert formats

Do some searchers for them and also look at these sites for info on it.

http://www.shafree.com/mov-to-mpg-av...converter.html

And many more if you can't find one you like here search for MOV to MPG Encoders
