Hello, I've suddenly noticed that I have many Nikon programs installed on my Computer: Capture 4, Picture Project, Nikon View,* NX trial,* Nikon Editor,* etc. Also, it tells me sometimes that another version of the same program is running. I'm a bit lost in translation. Which one you guys consider a keeper. I also have PShop and Image Ready and Lightroom Beta installed. Computer is iMAc G5, Mac OS X 10.4.Many thanks, Germain

Hi Karmin,

I downloaded the trial version of Capture NX and it is kind of not what I expected. It is very complicated and the users manual is just as complicated. I'm finding that Capture 4.4 is easier to understand and use. I only use my Capture 4.4 for resizing a batch of photographs anyway. I use Photoshop CS for all of my processing.

I will probably just keep my Capture 4.4 and Photoshop CS because they do everything that needs to be done a lot easier and faster then anything I have tried. I also had ACDsee and it was to complicated and tried to totally take over my computer. I spent more time re-booting then processing with that one.

I don't know why Nikon NX was made to be so complicated. Maybe after it is out a while someone will offer a tutorial on how to use it that a dummy like me can understand.
