Have any of you experienced this issue and have a solution? I bought new cartidges to replace the old but.... the color ones all print but the black will not. It does not matter if I use the new ones or old.
I have cleaned the heads, deep cleaned the heads, head alignment and black does not print. NOW the crazier part:
If I copy a black item, it prints in black. Admittidly a little light but it prints in black.
THANK YOU for your help!

During the summer my printer was not used. I did not realize I needed to remove the cartidges and store them in a cooler place. The house was maintained at 90degrees Farenheit but all cartidges are showing red lights, printing works but nothing prints (all blank). I can print in sold red but that is all.
Cleaning did not fix the issue. I am using a Canon MP 610. The printer software does not recognize the tanks are empty, non-working or such.
Any suggestions to restore my cartidges. We are in a very remote area and unable to get to a store. I could buy on line if I find them I guess.
THANK YOU!!!!!!
How do you store cartidges during a hot summer - about 6 months.
