flash for canon g7

hi i have just bought the canon powershot g7 and am looking for a flash unit that is automatic that will fit the camera but is cheaper than the canon models . Not got a great deal of money to play with any ideas or web sites i can purchase one,Ebay go to rediculous prices for the canon ones

I found the Opteka EF-600DG on Amazon for $119 + shipping and it is a very well constructed and efficient flash. I like it a lot. It has full tilt and swivel. What I like is that I can use the flash with my Canon XT and the S-5IS (i do not own a G-7). When the flash is used with the Canon XT it also provides a focus assist function as well that is not available to the G-7 or the S-5IS. I have also attached a sample photo.
